Meet Recap

Logansport Boys Golf got its season started on a good note as they finished 5th out of 16 teams and 20 shots off winner and Conference Rival Lafayette Harrison. Logansport was led by sophomores Garrick robbins and Evan Ulery with 83’s. Sophomore Johnathan Easter and Freshman Parker Wilburn carded 85 each. Eli Wickersham shot 99.
Coach Lundy’s comments:
“I’m extremely pleased with our effort. We had a very solid front nine (159) but the length of the back caught up with us and the wind picked up, but these guys never quit. We have a very young and talented group. We improved by almost 40 shots from last year. That’s huge for us and we know we left a lot out there as did every other team. Our guys know that hitting more greens on our approach shots is a premium so that is where our focus will be before next Saturday when we host our own Invite and our guys don’t want to see that trophy drive out of town!”
