Meet Recap

Logansport Placed 26th in the large division group at New Prairie Invite, the largest cross county race in the state. Logan finished with 709 points and were led by Jake Hoover who was 95th. Christian Dawson was second for the Berries at 134th, followed by Ryan Lythgoe, 146th, Kyle Army 163, and Zach Russell at 171, Adam Lowry 173, and Austin Young also ran in the varsity race. “The course was incredibly muddy and times where about 45 seconds slower across the board for all the schools'” said coach Chuck LaDow. “We are still inching our way up and I am seeing progress. I hope we continue to work hard as the real season is two weeks away with the NCC and the IHSAA tourney. Our top three JV were within a minute of the last three varsity runners so Culver will be huge in determining our NCC and our sectional like up. Right now it could be any of the top seven from Saturday, along with Kennny Echols and Drake Gellinger who were both out with minor injuries, or Ethan Hostetler, or Brandon Hauser. Logansport runs at the Culver Invite next Saturday.
