Game Recap

An early lead helped Logansport Berries Varsity defeat Marion 17-2 on Tuesday. Logansport took the lead on a single in the first inning, when Lexi Ayers drove in one when she singled.
The Berries scored seven runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Brittany Bandy, a fielder’s choice by Megan Benn, a single by Lexi Zartman, a double by Ayers, and a groundout by Megan Karnafel.
Benn earned the win for the Logansport Berries. She tossed six innings, giving up two runs, five hits, striking out one, and walking one.

Logan plays Marion tomorrow night at Fincher field at 6pm. They invite all future Lady Berries to come watch them. If our local, young ladies, who are league players, wear their jerseys, they will receive free admission tomorrow night. #GoBerries
