The Lady Berries scored their season high team score last night (97.1) at home vs Northwestern and Western. The team had their best rotations this season and their best beam rotation from the past three seasons. All of the girls have really stepped it up lately and I am beyond proud of their performance last night. Northwestern won the competition followed by Western. Chloe Wicker competed in the JV competition and scored her Season highs on bars (5.1) and beam (7.0) placing 1st on those events. She had a 7.8 on the vault. Tiara Lincoln won the JV vault competition with her season high of 8.25. She scored an 5.35 on bars, and a 7.95 on the floor. She stuck her beam routine and scored her career high on the event with an 8.0. Amilia Zaragoza also stuck her beam routine and received her Career high score of an 8.05. She has shown a lot of consistency on that event. She scored an 8.2 on vault, and her season high on floor (7.2). Reese Rennewanz scored her Career high on the floor excercise with a 7.6. She had a 7.3 on the vault and a 6.68 on the beam. Adrienne Scott was another gymnast hitting a career high on the balance beam (6.85). She scored an 8.2 on the vault, and a 7.25 on the floor. She competed her best (Career High) bar routine as well scoring a 6.55. Lucy Gordon had her season high on the bars with a 5.25. She scored an 8.4 on vault, and a 7.95 on the floor. Rylee Zimmerman added an 8.55 for the team on the vault. Jentry Strong competed a solid meet as well contributing to the team score on every event. She scored an 8.3 on the vault, 5.6 on bars (Season high), 7.8 on beam, and an 8.05 (Season high) on the floor. Bella Walker led the Berries with an 8.2 (Season high) on vault, 6.05 on bars, 7.3 on beam and an 8.4 (Season high) on floor. All four of our All Around girls finished with season highs. Adrienne (28.85), Tiara (29.55), Jentry (29.75), and Bella (29.98). The Berries face Northwestern again on Wednesday (2/4) at home in a dual JV/Varsity meet.
