The Lady Berries finished their regular season strong on Saturday, February 21st. They competed two teams (Logan red and Logan White) and both had very good finishes. The Logan Red team was made up of all five of our Seniors, Adrienne Scott, Reese Rennewanz, Rylee Zimmerman, Tatianna Jones and Bella Walker. The Logan White team was our underclassmen that could compete. (Amilia Zaragoza, Lucy Gordon, Tiara Lincoln, Lilly Hankins, Chloe Wicker and Jentry Strong). This was very beneficial for us to see where we will be starting from next year as a team. Rylee competed in the all around to lead Logan Red and finished with a 34.225. She placed 6th on bars with an 8.475. She had an 8.525 on vault, 8.6 on beam, and 8.625 on floor. Bella contributed impressive scores to help the team on every event as well. She had an 8.225 on vault, 5.875 on bars, 6.9 on beam and an 8.125 on floor. She finished with a 29.125. Adrienne scored her Career high on the vault with an 8.525. She added a 7.175 on bars, and a 7.325 on beam to the team score finishing with an all around score of 30.35. Tatianna posted a 8.0 on vault and her season high on bars with a 5.2. Reese contributed a great floor routine scoring a season high of 7.65. She also scored a career high on vault with a 7.85. Tiara led Logan White finishing with a 28.375 in the all around. Jentry contributed an 8.35 on vault, 6.025 on bars (Season High) and an 8.4 on floor finishing with a 27.8 for the day. Lucy helped the team on the three events that she competed in. She posted an 8.45 on vault, 5.7 on bars (Season high) and an 8.15 on floor. Amilia scored an 8.15 on vault and a 7.275 on beam to add to Logan White. Chloe scored the team's second highest score on beam with a 6.775. I am very pleased with our results and how both teams finished. We have shown consistent improvement throughout the season and each girl has contributed something to our team. Northwestern won the Invite with a 104.025, followed by Plymouth (103.025) and then Western (101.85). We head to Elite in Lafayette on Saturday, February 28th for our Sectional.
