Logansport High School

Logan wins their home opener 3-2 over Manchester. Sophomore Braylon Ritchie got his first start for LHS and threw 5.33 INN allowing just 1 hit and 1 run. Ritchie walked 5 and struck out 4. Kuper Jones got the win, throwing the final 2.66 INN allowing a hit and an unearned run while striking out 2 Manchester hitters. Logan fell down 2-1 in the 8th INN after some defensive miscues but answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th to walk off with the win. Logan was led offensively by Bryson Herr. Herr had 2 hits and an RBI. Taylor Albright added a hit, Blake Pearson had a hit and an RBI to tie the game in the bottom of the 8th. Grady Alexander had a single and Jose Portilla had a single. Logan hosts Tipton for their conference opener Tuesday.
