Logan drops a pair to Norwell at home Saturday to fall to 5-2. Logan lost game 1 by a score of 2-1. Josh Middleton got the start and threw 6INN allowing 2 runs, 1 earned on 7 hits, 1 walk while striking out 2. Trace Young threw the 7th and kept Logan within striking distance. Logan was held to just 3 hits in game 1. Taylor Albright, Braylon Ritchie, and Kuper Jones all had singles. Logan hitters struck out 9 times. Logan fell 5-4 in game 2. Kuper Jones started on the mound allowing 5 runs, 3 earned on 7 hits. Kolton Hudson pitched the 7th striking out 1 and kept the Berries within 1 run. Logan was able to get 2 runners on in the bottom of the 7th but was unable to push across any runs. Logan tallied 7 hits in game 2, Shank had a 1B, Albright had an RBI, Bryson Herr had a pair of doubles and an RBI. Blake Pearson had a hit and an RBI, Braylon Ritchie had an RBI sac fly, Grady Alexander had a pair of hits, and Kolten Hudson had a hit. Logan hosts Western on Tuesday in conference play.
