Varsity vs Harrison Win Brooklynn Hagerty shut down Harrison Varsity Raiders, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Logansport Varsity Berries to a 2-0 victory on Thursday. The pitching was strong on both sides. Logansport Varsity Berries pitchers struck out 14, while Harrison Varsity Raiders sat down five. Logansport Varsity Berries were the first to get on the board in the second when Wolf singled, scoring one run. Gaeta took the loss for Harrison Varsity Raiders. The right-handed pitcher went six innings, giving up two runs (zero earned) on four hits, striking out five and walking one. Risley, Spradling, Wolf, and Kitchel each collected one hit for Logansport Varsity Berries. Wolf and Kitchel were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Logansport Varsity Berries. Knight led Harrison Varsity Raiders with one hit in three at bats. Logansport Varsity Berries welcome Western on Tuesday for their next game.
