Logansport Varsity Berries Defeat Twin Lakes Varsity Indians Behind Strong Performance From Brooklynn Hagerty Brooklynn Hagerty struck out 13 batters as the starter led Logansport Varsity Berries past Twin Lakes Varsity Indians 10-0 on Friday. Hagerty allowed zero hits and zero runs over six innings while walking one. A double by Hagerty put Logansport Varsity Berries on the board in the top of the first. Logansport Varsity Berries added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Bella Nicoles singled to center field, and Evie Kitchel doubled to center field, each scoring two runs. Myley Spriggs took the loss for Twin Lakes Varsity Indians. The hurler went three innings, surrendering five runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out none and walking two. Logansport Varsity Berries accumulated 12 hits in the game. Kitchel, the number seven hitter for Logansport Varsity Berries, led the way with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-4 on the day. Kitchel, Gracie Risley, Nicoles, Hagerty, and Adrienne Scott each collected two hits for Logansport Varsity Berries. Logansport Varsity Berries didn't commit a single error in the field. Nicoles had the most chances in the field with 13. Next up for Logansport Varsity Berries is a double header at Benton Central on Saturday.
