Hagerty allowed just two hits. Logansport Varsity Berries were the first to get on the board in the fifth when Gracie Risley singled, scoring one run. Kaidynn Peckinpaugh took the loss for McCutcheon Varsity Mavs. The starter went six innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out 10 and walking seven. Aracyn Good went 2-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Lucy Gordon led Logansport Varsity Berries with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Ashtyn Strimel and Aislyn Patel each collected one hit for McCutcheon Varsity Mavs. Logansport Varsity Berries travel to Hamilton Southeastern tomorrow for a 5:30 game.
