Logan wins in Sectional play over Peru 7-0. Braylon Ritchie was outstanding before being removed after 5 innings pitched due to illness. Ritchie allowed 2 hits and struck out 5 Peru hitters. Kuper Jones pitched the final 2 innings and was equally dominant and allowed just 1 walk and struck out 1. Logan hitter tallied 10 hits in the contest. Hudson Shank had a single and scored a run. Taylor Albright had a pair of hits and had an RBI. Blake Pearson had a double and an RBI. Braylon Ritchie had a single, double and 2 RBI. Kuper Jones added a hit and 1 RBI. Camden Chapman had a single and stole a base. Grady Alexander had a hit and an RBI sac fly. Kolten Hudson added a double and an RBI. Logan moves to 18-10 and will face West Lafayette in game 2 Saturday at Jim Turner Field with a start time of 5PM. Game 1 Saturday is a 3 PM start time with Western and Northwestern facing off.
