Lady Berries Varsity Softball sweeps double header against Twin Lakes. The Lady Berries jumped out to an early lead scoring six runs in the first inning. Kellyn Cripe tripled on the first pitch of the game. Gracie Risley doubled on the next pitch scoring Cripe. Risley scores on a double to left by Bella Nicoles. With one out in the inning Brooklynn Hagerty homered to left. Adrianne Scott hit an infield single and later scored on a Twin Lakes error. Kate Spradling hit an infield single and later scores on an RBI single by Rylinn Spradling. Gracie Risley tripled to center to start the second inning. Risely scores on an error by Twin Lakes on a ground ball off of the bat of Nicoles. With two outs Scott singles to center scoring pinch runner Lucy Gordon. Logansport started off the third inning with a walk by Cripe and an infield single by Risley. After a double play by Twin Lakes, Packard singled to short. Risley scores on a drop third strike. Later in the inning Scott's RBI infield single put the Berries up 10-0. Natalee Packard secured the win for the Berries throwing a 2 hit shutout while striking out 8 batters. Risley and Scott each had 3 hits on the day.
