Game two Logansport Softball vs Twin Lakes (12 - 1) Win Freshman Gracie Risley dominated in the circle for the Lady Berries Softball team. Risley gave up 1 hit, no earned runs and struck out eleven in 5 innings of work. The Lady Berries jumped out to an early lead again with 3 runs in the first and 4 more in the second inning. Kellyn Cripe leads off the game as she did in game one with a triple to left center field. Risley followed with a RBI double to left. Brooklyn Hagerty then hit a line drive 2 run homer to center for her second of the day making the score 3 to 0. Bianca Cortez leads off the 2nd inning with a double to left. Mya Hershberger RBI single scores Cortez. Lucy Gordon draws a walk. Cripe's bunt single loads the bases. Risley draws a bases loaded walk to force in Hershberger. Natalee Packard walked with 1 out to plate Gordon. Cripe scores on a RBI ground out by Hagerty. The Lady Berries score 5 more runs in the 4th. Cripe leads off with an infield single. Risley doubled to left to put runners on second and third. Cripe scores on a wild pitch. Packard walked putting runners at second and third. Hagerty doubled scoring Risley and Packard. Adrienne Scott lined an inside the park home run to right field scoring Hagerty. The Lady Berries collected 11 hits in game two. Cripe, Risley, Hagerty, and Cortez had multiple hits for the Berries. Risley, Hagerty and Scott had multiple RBI's. The Lady Berries Varsity Softball is now 3-0 on the young season. The will face Tipton at Tipton on Tuesday the 15th and will face Tipton at home on the 16th for a 6 pm start.
