Logansport Berries Baseball Triumph Over Tipton By GameChanger Media Logansport Berries Baseball were triumphant over Tipton 5-2 on Tuesday. Tipton got on the board in the first inning after Nick Nasser singled, scoring one run. Logansport Berries Baseball captured the lead, 4-1, in the top of the fourth when Braylon Ritchie doubled, scoring three runs, and Jose Portilla grounded out, scoring one run. Carson Dubes earned the win for Logansport Berries Baseball. The starting pitcher gave up five hits and two runs over five and one-third innings, striking out four and walking three. Ty Middleton took the loss for Tipton. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on three hits, striking out four and walking one. Kuper Jones collected the save. Ritchie led Logansport Berries Baseball with three runs batted in. Ritchie went 1-for-3 on the day. Bryson Herr went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Logansport Berries Baseball in hits. Tipton's Aidan Borders, the number seven hitter, led Tipton with two hits in three at bats. Nasser and Borders each drove in one run for Tipton.
