Logansport Berries Baseball Claim Victory Over Tipton By GameChanger Media Logansport Berries Baseball were triumphant over Tipton 4-1 on Wednesday. Logansport Berries Baseball got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Camden Chapman singled to left field, and Carson Dubes grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run. Logansport Berries Baseball added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Chapman hit a sacrifice fly, and Braylon Ritchie grounded out, each scoring one run. Josh Middleton earned the win for Logansport Berries Baseball. The starter allowed four hits and one run over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Zach Goshern took the loss for Tipton. The starting pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on three hits, striking out two and walking five. Kuper Jones collected the save. Chapman drove the middle of the lineup, leading Logansport Berries Baseball with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Dubes, Chapman, Jose Portilla, and Micah Rogers each collected one hit for Logansport Berries Baseball. Logansport Berries Baseball had patience at the plate, amassing six walks for the game.
