Logansport placed 4th out of 20 teams at the Twin Lakes Invitational with a solid team score of 326. Parker Wilburn led Logansport with an even par round of 72, which placed him 2nd out of 100 players behind Noblesville Clay Merchant who shot a blistering 6 under par 66. Johnathan Easter finished 5th with a 75. Garrick Robbins carded a 85 and Freshman Trevor Vietti rounded out the scoring with a 94.

What a round by Parker. I am so happy for him. After last weekend I saw a lot of determination at practice from him this week. We spent a lot of time on our short game, and he used it!! He hit only 9 out of 18 greens, but he went 9 for 9 getting up and down for pars. He finished with a tour caliber 27 putt round. Couldn’t be more pleased. Johnathan played very well also. I was very proud of the way he kept his composure this week. Those two definitely stood out this week in practice and it showed today. He hit 83% of the greens which is phenomenal. Garrick was struggling with some swing issues, but man did he do everything I was telling him too, and he is really working on getting a more consistent contact. For Trevor I was proud of the way he pushed through some adversity. .This was his first High School tournament, and he started with some big numbers but was able to bounce back. Very pleased with our effort.
