ogansport JV lost the lead late in a 9-7 defeat to Harrison on Monday. The game was tied at seven with Harrison batting in the top of the seventh when an error scored one run for Harrison.

Despite the loss, Logansport JV did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Harrison had 13 hits on the way to victory.

Logansport JV captured the lead in the first inning. Logansport JV scored on a stolen base during Kyleigh Sweet’s at bat. Then Sweet singled , driving in one.

Cornego led things off on the rubber for Harrison. She surrendered four runs on two hits over two-thirds of an inning.

Brooke Veasey toed the rubber for Logansport JV. She went seven innings, allowing nine runs on 13 hits, striking out three and walking one.

Logansport JV collected 11 hits. Brooke Overman, Heidi Reed, Veasey, and Reagan Hildebrand all managed multiple hits for Logansport JV. Hildebrand, Veasey, Reed, and Overman each managed two hits to lead Logansport JV. Logansport JV tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Reed led the way with three.

Harrison tallied 13 hits. Yeoman, Frick, Fine, and Fultz each had multiple hits for Harrison. Yeoman went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Harrison in hits.
