The Logansport gymnastics team had an outstanding showing today at the Logan Invitational. They hit a season high team score of 107.5. This was the highest team score recorded since 2016. The Berries were led by Senior, Kendal Wilkinson who swept all events including the all around. She scored a 9.5 on vault, and a 9.45 on the balance beam. She had season high scores on bars with a 9.5, the floor with a 9.35 and all around with a 37.8. Haylee Osburn had an amazing performance as well placing 2nd and scoring career highs on bars (8.55), beam (9.35), and the all around 35.5. She tied for 5th on vault with teammate, Mayle Goad (8.7) and tied for 3rd on floor with teammate, Kimi Wilkinson (8.9). Mayle placed 6th on bars (7.95) and 5th in the all around with a 33.5. Kimi had a season high score of 7.05 on the bars and placed 8th in the all around with a 32.55. Cassidy Cuppy placed 5th on floor with a season high score of 8.55. She also had season high scores on vault (8.5) and the all around (32.5). Kassie See had season high scores on both events that she competed today. She scored an 8.5 on vault and an 8.15 on the floor. Ari Howell scored a season high on the balance beam with a 7.8. Alysa Weathers also had a season high score on the bars.
The Berries host Plymouth on Tuesday at 6 p.m. They will honor Kendal Wilkinson on Wednesday as they host Mccutcheon and LCC for senior night starting at 6 p.m. On Saturday, February 22 they host the NCC championship at 11a.m.
