Logansport Berries Varsity was ahead on Friday, going into the fourth inning, but ended up losing their game with Zionsville 16-5.

Logansport Berries Varsity scored three runs in the third inning. Lexi Ayers, Kiersten Wolfe, and Justine Brown each drove in runs during the inning.

Claire Kitchel was in the pitcher’s circle for Logansport Berries Varsity. She surrendered nine runs on seven hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. Megan Benn threw three and a third innings in relief.

Logansport Berries Varsity saw the ball well today, racking up eight hits in the game. Benn and Ayers all had multiple hits for Logansport Berries Varsity. Ayers and Benn each collected two hits to lead Logansport Berries Varsity.
