Berries JV ran off with a lead late in the game in a 17-14 victory over Lewis Cass Kings on Wednesday. Berries JV trailed in the bottom of sixth inning when Delanie Hasket homered on a 1-0 count, scoring 4 runs.

Haskett led the Berries to a victory by driving in 6 runs. She went 3-for-4 at the plate. She drove in runs with a double in the second, a double in the third and a grand slam in the sixth.

Saige Hewitt earned a victory in the circle for the Berries. She allowed 14 hits and 14 runs over 7 innings, striking out 5 and walking 1.

Berries socked two home runs on the day. Laine McLochlin went deep in the second inning. Delanie Haskett hit a finger in the sixth inning.

Berries racked up 17 hits on the day. Haskett, McLochlin, Justyce Rohrabaugh, Gianna Rozzi and Alexis Doss all had multiple hits for the Berries. Rohrabaugh, McLochlin and Haskett each collected three hits to lead the Berries.
